Eat Well: Black-Eyed Pea Stew

Yes, I am a Country Girl who loves her Black Eyed Peas.  I loved this recipe from Bon Appetit and I had to share.

Perfect for Soul Food Sunday Dinner. This recipe also calls for a Salsa Verde and a crusty bread that can be soaked in this delicious Stew, or you can make some Jiffy( y’all know Jiffy is very nifty) on the side and Dinner is done!

 

Note:  I used Hudson Valley Duck Sausage instead of Hot Italian Sausage.  This recipe would be great Sans Meat as well.
