Ok so I love breakfast, and since I changed my eating habits and identified certain foods that I am intolerant to, a lot of my breakfast favs are no longer on my list of things I can eat.(oatmeal, Cocoa Pebbles, Pancakes, Cocoa Pebbles) and some mornings I need something a bit heartier. So when I stumbled upon this recipe, from Gwyneth Paltrow’s latest cook book with Julia Turshen,”It’s All Good”,that used Quinoa as the grain, I was in heaven!!!! Feel free to get creative with toppings!!!
3/4 cup Cooked Quinoa
1/2 cup of unsweetned almond milk(or whatever milk you are able to drink. I use Cashew Nut Milk)
Toppings: My choices are, blackberrys, pecans, cranberries, a sprinkle of Maldon sea salt(the salt brings out the sweetness of the berries to me) vanilla, cinnamon, and stevia or a drizzle of maple syrup,
