Today nurture your inner child. Give yourself the acceptance, attention, comfort, support and protection that you may have missed out on as a child. There is a direct relationship between who we are as adults, and what we received or didn’t receive emotionally as children. There is nothing that we can do to go back and change time, however, it is up to us as adults to give our younger selves all the things that we did not receive. Be that protection, that person to validate those feelings that never got the attention and validation needed.
