Awareness or consciousness, is the ability of our mind to monitor and analyze our inner selves and to recognize that there is a relationship between our inner and our external lives. The focus is vital when we are on our path of getting to know and understand who we are and who we want to be. We can get distracted from this awareness by pesky little things that divert our attention, things that only serve to stall our journey or stop it all together. Stuff like gossip, self-doubt, worry, discouragement, anger, bitterness, holding on to past hurts, anxiety over things we cant control, and the list can go on and on. Anything that can shift your focus and cause you to remain in a cesspool of negativity can be identified as an agent of interrupted awareness. Be vigilant over your awareness, protect your path.
